1. Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center: A Monumental Construction Set to Transform Janesville’s Landscape

The Woodman’s Center project, a cornerstone of Janesville’s Milton Avenue redevelopment efforts, aims to be a beacon of progress and innovation. With a strategic location and inclusive design, it stands poised to become vibrant space in our community, a hub for sports and events, and a place where connections are made and memories are created. Think of it as Janesville’s new third space – perfect for sports, business, community gatherings, entertainment, and recreational fun.

2. Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Expands Team and Visitor Resources

Our purpose here at the JACVB is all about making your visit to our city extra special, and we’ve got some fantastic additions and news to share! We’re so excited to share more about two resources to discovering all Janesville has to offer. Our updated Visitors Guide is loaded with stunning visuals and insider tips that’ll have you itching to explore every nook and cranny of our city. Our new Beer & Wine Trail Brochure uncorks the best breweries and wineries in northern Rock County.

And we are expanding the JACVB team by bringing on board a Director of Sports Sales! This new, full-time position will focus on working with sports venues within Northern Rock County to book or create tournaments and other sports events that will draw attendees, participants, and spectators on a regional or national scale.

We’re also looking to welcome a temporary, part-time Digital Media Intern. This position will include tasks like writing blogs, social media content creation and scheduling, e-newsletters, and drafting media releases.
